Otterly AI alternatives at $50 a month or less, compared from their pricing pages
· 3 min read
At $50 a month or less, the main alternatives to Otterly AI are Visiblee, Promptmonitor, LLM Pulse, HubSpot AEO and Cited Lens. Choose by which engines you need and how many prompts you want tracked: entry prices sit close together, while coverage does not.
Disclosure: Cited Lens is one of the tools listed, so weigh our view accordingly. We took each row from the vendor's own pricing page on 5 November 2026, not from other roundups, and did not test every tool in depth. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.

Which one fits
- Stay with Otterly if you need Microsoft Copilot in the base plan. It is the only tool in this table that includes Copilot at the entry price.
- Choose LLM Pulse for the most prompts and engines per euro: 50 prompts across five engines, with up to 10 competitors.
- Choose Promptmonitor if 25 prompts checked twice a week on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity is enough, and you want competitor tracking included.
- Choose HubSpot AEO for daily tracking of 25 prompts, especially if you already work in HubSpot. It does not list Google AI Overviews.
- Choose Visiblee if you want both AI Overviews and AI Mode at the lowest entry price, and 10 prompts is enough.
- Choose Cited Lens if you do not yet know why you are not cited. You get a free 10-check audit and ready-to-paste fix files before paying, then Pro tracks you against competitors.
Where Cited Lens falls short
We would rather you hear this from us. Pro tracks at most 5 custom prompts, the lowest cap here. Checks run weekly, not daily. We do not run live checks on Perplexity, Claude or Copilot. If you need any of those, one of the other tools is the better buy.
What to check before you pay
- Add up the real price. Engine add-ons can double an entry plan, so price the engines your customers actually use.
- Count prompts per engine or per run. Vendors count differently, so 25 prompts is not always comparable with 25 prompts.
- Ask how answers are collected. An answer from an API may differ from what a person sees in the consumer app, and this can change the result.
- Run the same small test in two tools. AI answers vary between runs, so one result proves little. Our guide to checking AI citations shows a repeatable method.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest alternative to Otterly AI?
Visiblee and Cited Lens Pro both start at $29 a month, the same as Otterly's monthly price. Otterly drops to $25 a month when billed annually, so none of them is clearly cheapest once you compare prompts and engines.
Do I need a paid AI visibility tracker at all?
Not to start. You can ask 10 buyer questions by hand every two weeks and record the results in a spreadsheet. Pay for a tool when the manual routine stops happening, or when you need competitor trends over time.
Can any of these tools guarantee AI citations?
No. They measure citations and, in some cases, suggest fixes. Google warns to be wary of third-party tools that promise ranking success.
